As a native Brazilian teacher with experience teaching English to Portuguese speakers, I’ve learned that every student is unique. Because of that, my teaching method is always personalized. I adapt my approach to the way you learn best.

My Teaching Method & Techniques

I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” method. Instead, I use a flexible and dynamic approach, including:

- Visual learning tools (images, slides, examples) for students who learn best through visuals.
- Games, activities, and conversation dynamics for active learners who enjoy movement, interaction, and practice.
- Clear, structured explanations and lecture style teaching for those who prefer logical, step-by-step instruction.
- Real-life scenarios to help you speak naturally and confidently in everyday situations.
- Personalized homework and revision tailored to your goals, level, and progress.
- My goal is for every student to feel comfortable, supported, and confident, no matter their learning style.

A Typical Lesson Plan

A regular lesson may include:

- Warm-up conversation to practice natural Portuguese and build confidence.
- Review of previous content to reinforce learning and clear up any confusion.
- New material explained in a way that fits your learning style (visual, auditory, interactive, etc.).
- Practice activities speaking, reading, listening, or writing exercises depending on your goals.
- Real-life application, such as mini-dialogues, pronunciation support, or cultural insights.
- Personalized feedback so you know exactly what to improve and how.
- Optional homework designed specifically for your level and your goals.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor

I am extremely patient and genuinely care about your learning journey. I adapt the lesson to YOU, not the other way around.

I’m Brazilian and teach the language as it is truly spoken, including expressions, pronunciation, and cultural nuances.

I have proven teaching experience and understand the struggles of language learners from both sides.

I make learning fun, warm, and welcoming, so even beginners feel comfortable.

Who My Lessons Are For

- Beginners to advanced students
- Kids, teens, and adults
- English speakers wanting to learn Brazilian Portuguese
- Students preparing for travel, work, or moving to Brazil
- Anyone wanting to improve conversation, grammar, pronunciation, or writing
- Heritage learners who understand some Portuguese but want to speak it confidently

Whether you’re starting from zero or refining advanced skills, I adapt every detail of the lesson to your ability, pace, and personal goals.
