I’m a passionate piano tutor with 14 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Collaborative Piano. I specialize in guiding students through a thoughtful and enriching musical journey. My teaching approach is grounded in critical thinking, musicality, and individualized instruction tailored to each student’s unique goals and learning style. I believe that music is not just about playing notes—it’s about developing the whole musician. That’s why I integrate music theory, ear training, technique, and music history into my lessons. This holistic approach builds deeper understanding, creativity, and confidence at the piano. Whether you're refining your artistry or advancing your technical skills, I support your growth every step of the way. I have successfully taught students from Early Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate levels, as well as those preparing for professional or expert-level goals. Each lesson is a blend of structure and inspiration, encouraging students to think, feel, and express through music. My piano teaching approach is all about helping students build skills step by step in a clear and structured way. I focus on chord progressions, scale practice, and rhythm training as the foundation for strong musical growth. Whether you’re just starting or returning to the piano, I make the journey enjoyable and rewarding. Lessons include a mix of technical work and fun, practical music that keeps you motivated.
We work on real songs you love, using them to explore harmony, technique, and expression. Repertoire is chosen to match your interests and gradually expand your ability. I provide real-time feedback during lessons so you can immediately apply what you’ve learned and feel confident moving forward. Each session is designed to be engaging and focused, helping you improve without feeling overwhelmed.
For students who play for fun or personal growth, I offer full support and encouragement. I understand your goals might be different from those of a professional musician, and I tailor each lesson accordingly. We'll explore different genres like pop, soul, and modern hits while learning the building blocks behind them. My goal is to help you enjoy your playing while still making steady progress.
