About Tessa
With 14 years of experience in teaching piano, I have had the pleasure of guiding 300-350 students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. My passion for music and education drives me to create a learning environment where students feel both challenged and inspired. I specialize in tailoring lessons to each student’s needs, whether they are looking to master classical pieces, explore modern genres like pop, jazz, or R&B, or improve their overall musicianship. I focus on building a solid foundation in both technical skills and music theory, making sure students understand the “why” behind the music they play. My approach is flexible and adaptive, ensuring that each lesson is engaging and suited to the student's learning style. I also encourage creativity and self-expression, helping students find their own musical voice. Through consistent support and structured practice, I help students set and achieve meaningful goals, fostering a lifelong passion for piano.
