About Lewis
I am a dedicated piano tutor with 14 years of experience, teaching high school and college students. Over the years, I have had the privilege of guiding 200-300 students, helping them build a strong foundation in piano while fostering a love for music. My teaching philosophy centers on personalized instruction, where I tailor lessons to each student’s unique learning style and musical interests. I believe in creating a positive, supportive environment where students feel encouraged to grow and explore their musical potential. My focus is not just on mastering technique, but also on developing creativity, musicality, and self-confidence. Throughout my career, I have helped students excel in various genres, from classical to contemporary, and many have gone on to achieve significant success in school performances and music competitions. My goal is to inspire a lifelong passion for music while helping students reach their personal musical goals.

Alongside piano, I offer guidance in related subjects such as music history, improvisation, and music composition. I create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel confident to ask questions, share ideas, and express themselves musically. Patience and diplomacy are key in my approach, allowing students to learn at their own pace while maintaining steady progress. My goal is to help students develop not just technical skills, but also a deep passion for music.
