About Erik
I am a piano teacher with over 9 years of experience, holding a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Piano. I specialize in guiding students preparing for music exams, college auditions, and professional gigs. My teaching approach is personalized, motivating, and focused on each student’s goals.
I work closely with students to develop strong technique, musicality, and performance confidence. Lessons include a mix of classical and contemporary repertoire, sight-reading, improvisation, and performance skills. I emphasize consistent practice habits while making learning engaging and enjoyable.
I tailor each session to the student’s strengths and areas for improvement, providing constructive feedback and encouragement. Whether preparing for an exam, audition, or live performance, I help students feel prepared and confident. My goal is to inspire a love for piano while helping students achieve measurable progress.
