Hi, I'm a piano tutor with over 14 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano. My passion lies not only in playing but also in music composition and songwriting, which I love to bring into my teaching. I offer engaging, personalized lessons for learners at all levels—whether you're a school student, college student, adult beginner, or professional musician. My teaching style is fun, flexible, and tailored to your musical interests and goals. I specialize in chord theory, sight-reading, improvisation, and performance skills, blending structure with creativity in every lesson. Whether you're diving into jazz, exploring pop, or refining classical technique, I’ll help you grow musically with confidence and joy. My teaching approach for piano is all about building skills step by step in a way that feels clear, structured, and rewarding. I guide students through foundational work like chord progressions, scale practice, and rhythmic exercises so they feel confident and in control of their playing. Each lesson is tailored to the student's pace and goals, ensuring they stay motivated and engaged.
I believe in the power of repetition with purpose. My practice routines are fun, focused, and designed to show real progress. Students expand their repertoire with songs they enjoy—pop, contemporary, or even their personal favorites—while developing essential technique.
During lessons, I give real-time feedback so students immediately know what’s working and what to adjust. This helps build musical awareness and boosts confidence. I’m especially supportive of students returning to piano later in life or exploring it as a creative outlet, making sure lessons stay enjoyable and stress-free.
