About Andre
I have been training and working as an actor for 11 years in NYC and London. I am a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland MFACCT program.
Previous training includes RADA, the Globe Theater, P3/East, Magnet Theater (Improv), Alexander Technique, Linklater, among various others.

I believe acting comes down to presence, focus, authenticity, and honesty. Using this as a cornerstone for the work we do, I will guide you through what it is to be in the moment.
I'm not looking for "acting," I'm looking for truth.
I can teach script study, sides, self tapes, and acting for film. I can guide you through monologues and audition pieces, as well as Shakespeare. We can also start from the ground up, learning techniques and exercises that will hone your skills. A lot of the work revolves around interrogating ourselves and our habits, identifying what worked and what didn't, and trying again.
An actors toolbox is the most important thing to develop, so I do not work with only one "method." I will offer you several different views and ideas, sometimes contradicting, and it is up to you to decide what works best for you, as this journey is personal.
We can also discuss acting business and what is expected of you once you feel ready to enter the industry.
WHO AM I?
I am a Brazilian-American Actor that grew up in the US. Since I was a child, I wanted to be an actor. Well, thats not true, first I wanted to be a goal keeper but I was afraid of the ball, so then I decided to become an actor instead.
I believe we are always learning, and new experiences allow us to grow as people, which in turn grows our career, our personality, and our skills. Sharing with others is an integral part of this learning process, and I find that teaching creates a special environment where both teacher and student are both learning.

Beginner, intermediate, advanced, and professional actors, enthusiasts, students looking to get into Drama Schools, and creatives from other industries looking to try acting, and anyone who is curious to learn!

Andre was thorough and thoughtful, really taking the time to listen to me and what I needed to work through. He knows his stuff and demands a level of focus and commitment that is inspiring. He is a delight to learn from and work with!
I can't imagine a better teacher when it comes to stripping down acting to its roots and getting down to business. Andre has so many tools at his disposal, and he was just as willing to change what and how he was teaching to find what worked for me.
I started working with Andre in February of 2021, first on Zoom and now in person, and he's been exceptional. From my very first session, he made me feel at ease, helping me understand how to better embody my character. He gives very precise feedback, and shows me where I'm improving, which has boosted my confidence. I highly recommend him.
