About Susie
Hello! My name is Susie, and I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker from Beijing, the capital of China. I am currently living in North York, Toronto, Canada, and I offer both online and in-person lessons with a flexible schedule to fit your needs.
I hold a Mandarin Proficiency Certificate, which ensures clear and standard pronunciation. My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults, whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your conversational Chinese.
I believe learning a language should be enjoyable, practical, and confidence-building. I am patient, attentive, energetic, and easy to talk to. I tailor each lesson to your learning goals and pace, creating a relaxed and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable speaking Chinese.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, playing tennis and squash, traveling, exploring new neighborhoods through city walks, and learning about different cultures. I look forward to helping you achieve your Chinese learning goals and making your Mandarin journey both fun and rewarding!
