About Jiayu
Welcome to the Mandarin course with me!
My name is Jiayu, and I am an experienced online Chinese teacher with a Mandarin certificate, dedicated to helping students of all ages and backgrounds master the Mandarin language. With at least five years of teaching experience, I have honed my skills in creating engaging and effective lessons tailored to each student's unique needs.
Having lived in Canada for the past five years, I understand the challenges and nuances faced by learners in an English-speaking environment. This perspective allows me to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps, making Mandarin more accessible and enjoyable for my students.
Throughout my teaching career, I have primarily taught with students who have no prior knowledge of Mandarin. This has provided me with extensive experience in guiding beginners, particularly young learners, through the initial stages of language acquisition. I am adept at making the learning process fun and interactive, ensuring that my students remain motivated and excited about their progress.
