I focus on helping students build a solid technical foundation while keeping lessons fun. Ergonomic techniques are emphasized to prevent strain. Open chords and power chords are introduced early. Finger dexterity exercises improve speed and accuracy. I teach ear training to recognize chords, progressions, and melodies. Music theory, including Roman Numeral Chord Nomenclature, is woven into practice. Fingerstyle and worship styles are explored creatively. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals. Practice routines are realistic and achievable. Improvisation and expression are encouraged alongside technical mastery. I guide students in performing and composing. My aim is to inspire confidence in every learner. Playing guitar becomes enjoyable and rewarding.
