About Jude
With over 4 years of teaching experience and a BFA in Digital Guitar Performance, I specialize in guiding students through blues guitar techniques. Lessons are tailored for beginners to advanced players. I focus on slide guitar, open tunings, and fingerpicking blues styles. My teaching style is encouraging, patient, and motivating. I cover multiple regional blues traditions, including Delta, Chicago, and Piedmont. Lessons emphasize tone, phrasing, dynamics, and expressive playing. Students develop technical skill, improvisation, and their own musical voice. Each session balances structured exercises with creative exploration. I enjoy helping students connect emotionally with the music they play. My approach supports confidence, skill, and authentic blues expression. Students leave lessons inspired to explore and create.
