About Laurence
Hello, my name is Laurence and I am from Canada. I have always been passionate about languages. I am trilingual and speak French, English, and Spanish, which allows me to communicate, exchange, read, and understand the world through different cultures. For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by culture, literature, and history, and I believe that learning languages is a gateway to these worlds. I am a smiling, patient, and caring person who enjoys guiding others with kindness. It is only natural that my human qualities and my passions have led me to teaching.

My Approach as a Tutor
I am a certified French teacher with a university degree in teaching French as a second language. My approach combines structure, clarity, and passion for languages. I believe that learning should be both effective and enjoyable, which is why I adapt my lessons to each student’s needs, level, and learning style.
Teaching Methodology
I use communicative and interactive methods, encouraging students to speak and practice from the very first lesson. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context, and I provide clear explanations with plenty of examples. I also integrate cultural aspects of the French language to make learning more authentic and inspiring.
Typical Lesson Plan
• Warm-up and conversation practice
• Introduction of new vocabulary/grammar with examples
• Guided exercises and interactive activities
• Role-plays or real-life practice situations
• Review and homework (if the student wishes)
What Sets Me Apart
What makes me stand out is my ability to create a positive and encouraging learning environment. I am patient, empathetic, and truly invested in my students’ progress. With my professional background and years of teaching experience, I can help you gain confidence, structure your learning, and achieve your personal or professional goals in French.
Who Are My Lessons For?
My lessons are designed for kids, teenagers or adults, from beginners (A1-A2) to intermediate learners (B1). Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, prepare for exams, or study French for work, I can guide you with personalized lessons that fit your needs.
