About Adam
Hi, I’m Adam Zhou, essentially French — born in the United States, but I moved to France at the age of 2 and have since then been raised in Paris. I am trilingual in French, English, and Chinese, with French as my primary language. I’ve always loved the French language and culture, and I’m excited to share that passion with students of all ages and levels in London. I completed the French Baccalaureate with highest honours, and I am coming to London to study Economics at UCL, so I can guide learners through grammar, vocabulary, and conversation with confidence. I offer French lessons for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced students. Lessons are 60 minutes long and tailored to each student’s goals and interests. I aim to make learning French fun, engaging, and interactive — whether it’s practising grammar, vocabulary, or holding lively conversations in French. I draw on my own experience as a native speaker who grew up in Paris, France, and successfully completed the French Baccalaureate with highest honours. My approach combines structured teaching, such as vocabulary learning and grammar, with real-life practice such as conversations, encouraging YOU to speak confidently, ask questions, and enjoy learning. I can adapt to any student — whether you’re a beginner just starting out or an advanced learner looking to refine your skills. Lessons are suitable for all ages, and I love helping students discover the joy of speaking French while also sharing cultural insights along the way.
