About Tenesha
Welcome! I'm an author, an experienced writer with 32 years of experience, and a former World Literature and English tutor at Jacksonville University. My background has given me a deep appreciation for language, literature, creative expression, and the power of effective communication.
My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style. Whether you're looking to strengthen your English skills, improve your writing, explore creative writing, or develop your public speaking and oratory skills, I'm committed to helping you grow in confidence while building practical skills you can use in everyday life, academics, and professional settings.
I also have experience working as an ABA therapist, which has strengthened my appreciation for individualized support, patience, and adapting to different learning needs. Students with autism are welcome! I strive to provide a respectful, encouraging environment where learners can practice communicating at their own pace without feeling pressured or embarrassed.
Whether you're a beginner, a student seeking academic support, an aspiring writer, or someone who simply wants to express yourself more confidently in English, I'd be delighted to support your journey. My goal is not only to help you improve, but also to help you recognize and develop your own unique voice.
Let's learn, grow, and find confidence in your words—one lesson at a time!
