About Pâmela
My classes cover current topics, as well as a bit of literature, pop culture and geek content. I am always open to getting to know students and bring to our classes the subjects that interest them most! I use what they call the "interactionist methodology", to which learning takes place through the interaction between teacher and student, student and classmates. I believe that communication is the basis of learning a foreign language.
I certainly take into account the student's objective when beginning to learn English, but I always put understanding speech and communication in the first place, because it is from these kinds of skills that students "feel" the result of their efforts.
I work with a series of Cambridge books that have a great base material for classes, but I am always complementing my lessons with my own material.

My name is Pamela and I am 24 years old. I am taking a double degree in Languages at UFRGS - English and Portuguese. I have always been fascinated by learning new languages (in addition to understanding more profoundly my native language). I love to read and I believe that reading opens up incredible paths. I am also fascinated by films and series and I see this new form of immersion in foreign languages and cultures as a revolutionary tool for language teaching.
