About Ivan
Hi! I'm a Senior Firmware Engineer with a passion for embedded systems and teaching others. My journey started in 2009, when I didn't even know what PWM was or how to flash an Arduino. Since then, I've spent years learning, building projects, and solving real engineering challenges, which eventually led me to become a Senior Firmware Engineer at one of the world's leading semiconductor companies.
I enjoy sharing practical knowledge and helping others avoid the mistakes I made while learning. Whether you're taking your first steps with a microcontroller or working on advanced Embedded Linux projects, I'll be happy to help you achieve your goals. I believe anyone can become a great engineer with curiosity, persistence, and the right guidance.

My lessons are focused on practical, real-world engineering rather than just theory. Whether you're a student, a hobbyist, or an experienced developer looking to move into embedded systems, I'll adapt the lessons to your goals and current skill level.
We can cover C/C++, STM32 development, Embedded Linux, custom Linux root filesystems, firmware development, Raspberry Pi, debugging techniques, hardware bring-up, and interview preparation. If you're interested in learning by building, one approach is to create a complete embedded device from your own idea—from selecting components and designing the PCB, through soldering and assembling the hardware, to writing the firmware and bringing the device to life.
My goal is to help you understand how professional engineers think, solve problems, and build reliable software and hardware, while giving you the confidence to tackle challenging projects on your own.
