About Wren
With an MSc in Radiochemistry and over 5 years of teaching experience, I make chemistry relevant through food and nutrition. My lessons focus on macromolecules, food additives, and metabolic chemistry. I believe that when students see science in everyday contexts, learning becomes easier and more enjoyable.
We study how chemical reactions shape cooking, flavor, and nutrition. I use examples from common meals to explain complex topics. Dietary analysis and small food experiments are part of my sessions, helping students understand the science behind eating well. I also introduce concepts of food product development to show how chemistry is used in industry. My approach encourages exploration, problem-solving, and creative thinking.
I make sure students feel supported and confident as they learn. By connecting chemistry to real life, I help them see its value beyond the classroom. Learning with me means discovering how molecules, meals, and health are all connected. It’s chemistry with purpose — and with taste.
