Hi! I'm Izzy, a certified Brazilian Portuguese teacher and the founder of The Wanderlust School.
I'm a native Brazilian from Recife and I specialize in helping adults speak Portuguese confidently in real-life situations. My lessons are personalized, interactive, and focused on communication from day one.
After traveling and living abroad for several years, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and adapting to a different culture. That's why my teaching goes beyond grammar—I help students feel comfortable speaking naturally while discovering Brazilian culture, expressions, and everyday life.
Whether you're learning Portuguese for travel, work, your Brazilian partner or family, or simply because you love Brazil, I'll create lessons that match your goals, interests, and learning style.
My teaching approach combines the Communicative Approach and Task-Based Learning, making every lesson practical, engaging, and relevant to your daily life.
