About Megan
I am a friendly, patient, and dedicated Afrikaans tutor who is passionate about helping students grow in confidence and improve their language skills. As someone who speaks both Afrikaans and English fluently, I understand the challenges that come with learning a new language and aim to make lessons supportive, enjoyable, and easy to follow.

I offer relaxed, supportive Afrikaans lessons that are tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable and encouraged, so I focus on creating a positive and interactive environment where mistakes are part of the learning process.
I am fluent in both Afrikaans and English, which allows me to explain concepts clearly and help students transition naturally between the two languages when needed. My lessons can include conversational Afrikaans, grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation, reading comprehension, school support, exam preparation, or beginner language learning.
A typical lesson with me is engaging, patient, and practical. I like to include real-life examples, speaking practice, and activities that make learning enjoyable rather than stressful. I adapt my teaching style depending on the student’s age, level, and confidence.
My lessons are aimed at beginners to intermediate learners, including school students, adults wanting to learn Afrikaans, and anyone looking to improve their speaking, understanding, or academic performance in the language.
