About Joanna
• First class law graduate from the University of Leeds (2023)
• Future trainee solicitor at US law firm in the City
• Passed SQE1 (January 2025) on first attempt in Quintile 1 (top 20%)
Whilst I was at university, I learnt that a big part of getting to grips with studying law was not just understanding the content itself, but finding ways to help you learn the content efficiently, knowing what to focus on and what to disregard for exam purposes.
Throughout university, I have developed effective ways to study large volumes of legal content, condense the material and apply them comprehensively and accurately to both essay and problem questions. I am happy to share what has worked for me but also tailor an approach which works for you specifically. This way, you can learn from my mistakes, waste less time figuring out what is effective vs what isn't and cut straight to the essentials you need to score highly in exams.
