Hi, I’m Tristan! I help law students break down complex concepts, master issue spotting, and strengthen IRAC writing with practical, tailored strategies. My sessions are encouraging, approachable, and focused on real exam success—so you can feel confident, prepared, and supported throughout your law school journey. I aim to make law school feel less overwhelming while helping you build the skills to succeed.
As a first-generation college and law school graduate, I understand the pressures of navigating higher education without prior exposure. I know how intimidating law school can feel at first, and I’m here to provide guidance, support, and strategies that make the journey more manageable and achievable.

My approach to tutoring focuses on helping students understand how to think through legal problems in a clear, structured way. I have a strong background in legal research and legal writing, and I use that experience to help students strengthen issue spotting, legal analysis, and IRAC writing. During sessions, we typically work through practice questions, outlines, or past exam answers to identify areas for improvement. I often start with general frameworks and templates that help simplify complex legal concepts, and as I work with each student, I tailor those tools to fit their individual learning style and goals.
I prefer to teach using encouraging techniques and realistic goals so students can build confidence while improving their skills. My goal is to help make law school feel less overwhelming by breaking down what professors are actually looking for on exams and written assignments. Sessions are practical and collaborative, focusing on strategies students can immediately apply in their classes and exams.
