About Eimear
I'm a passionate and professional tutor with a strong international background and a deep love for language learning. I hold a TEFL certificate, a BCL in Law with International French from the University of Galway, and I’m currently completing a Master’s in Public International Law at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. I’ve lived, studied, and worked across Ireland, France, Canada, and the Netherlands, which has given me a broad cultural perspective and adaptability in my teaching style. I’ve taught English and French to learners of all ages and abilities—whether for exams, academic purposes, or everyday conversation. I create a calm, encouraging space where students feel confident and supported in reaching their goals.

My approach to tutoring is student-focused, adaptable, and supportive. I tailor each lesson to the learner’s goals—whether for exams like the Leaving Cert, IELTS, or conversational fluency. I use a mix of interactive exercises, past papers, and real-world materials (articles, videos, audio) to build language confidence and accuracy.
Lessons typically last 45–60 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and attention span.
I hold a TEFL certificate and a degree in Law with International French. I’ve tutored students from ages 12 to adult, both in classroom and one-on-one settings, including in France.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school students (Junior and Leaving Cert), university students, and adult learners preparing for official exams or seeking to improve their spoken and written English or French.
