About Bolatito

I am a young attorney.. a writer...activist....young enterpreneur...an adviser and a singer... I have been taking private lessons for over (5) years now. Way before my admission into higher institution... I have a degree in law(LL.B Hons)... Have taught well over (15) students fair enough...My students have basically been my main source of motivation and drives me to achieving excellence. Their grades I must say have been encouraging. They not only acquire grades but skills and their joy has always been my main aim... I may not be guaranteed that audience to mention all but amidst one, I got amazed on how a 200 level law student of mine with a 2.32.GPA rose to 3.98. GPA with so much dedication and supports from her coach... Guess who the coach basically is (she had me as her mentor) and also a primary 4 student thinking she was a dullard simply because her dream was to gain admission into high school at primary 4 and whom her parents have basically told her she needed to further her class to primary 6 on account that they needed to be assured well of her competence... When she took me as her coach...i gave her that confidence she never had... Encouraged and supported her in taking the high school entrance examination at primary 4 at the age of 8 turning 9 years... Although criticisms arose... But with after so much efforts put in and with late night reading and morning and evening classes. She triumphed. Her name appeared the second on the high school list and to resume high school in two weeks time. She became my job afterall and she needed to confide in me. I exhume confidence and with God, I inspire trust in students and in anyone I come in contact with or cross paths with.

I am a law graduate... I take students across all levels of educational level as long as it's within my capacity... I take students from kindergarten level, primary school, high school and cut across university level and most especially at the University level, those who offer law as a discipline. I basically don't believe in discrimination. My teaching methodology is all about building a teacher-friendly relationship with your students... I mostly allow my students tutor me. Why? For a reason I thought it's a good idea to me because that would enable my students build in that confidence they never had and overcome their fear. We basically know that most students can be scared for the fear of the unknown or might be too shy to speak out and that makes some not so audible and fidgeting amidst their colleagues... At times i base my teaching on personal life experiences... I know most of you would for a second think it's weird... It can but it's not weird to me... Like I said earlier... It's not basically about academics.. Students needs be thought morally and religiously as well and cut across other phase of life... most students are not so aware of what goes around them, some in terms of greeting, salutation and communication with anyone they come in contact with... I also believe in words of advice... Not scolding or caning a child all the time as we have in the African mentality (especially where I hail from, Nigeria)... As a child, while growing up. I felt scolding was the basic tool to correct a child and caning was best applicable to reform a child. But while reading broader than the lines. I was made to understand that by words of mouth alone. It can be used to change a child for the better and help achieve a better and brighter future for them and with that I took it as a useful mechanism. A defence mechanism I must say. I also recommend text at the primary school level like Mastery of English. At the high school level, Oxford In English, Essentials of Government, Exam focus Literature in English, Mastery of Literature. At the University level, for law students basically, Abiola Sanni on Legal methods at 100l, Ese Malemi and Obilade on Nigerian legal system, Sagay on Contract law at 200l, Ese Malemi on constitutional law and tort and Oluyede on Constitutional law, Okonkwo and Naish and Oluyemisi Bamgbose on Criminal law at 300l, I. O Smith and on land law, Chris Wigwe, Aguda, Nwadialo on Evidence and key points by Jide Olakanmi at 400l and Company law by Orojo at 500l.
