About Francine Laure
Bonjour! I’m Laure Mekoude, a dedicated educator pursuing my Bachelor of Education at the University of Ottawa. With hands-on experience as a substitute and interim teacher in public schools, as well as a background supporting youth in community settings, I am passionate about making learning accessible, engaging, and rewarding for students of all ages.
As a native French speaker, I specialize in French instruction, academic support, and language development. Whether guiding young learners through their school curriculum or helping working professionals gain confidence in conversational and workplace French, I bring patience, strong pedagogical techniques, and an encouraging teaching style to every session. Outside of teaching, I am passionate about cooking, pastry making, and exploring new cultures, which keeps my approach creative and relatable!
