About Bill
I am currently a student at the university of Adelaide, maintaining a 6.7 GPA and obtaining a 97.65 ATAR upon leaving high school. I am studying Psychology with a minor in French, and left high school with an award in Italian studies. I have assisted many fellow students in their studies and enjoy doing so very much! I have also studied Chinese and Japanese at a university level, simply because I have a strong passion for languages and how they work!
Helping others in their studies, whether in primary school, high school or my fellow university students, has helped me develop as a person and better understand my own areas of study. This is why I enjoy tutoring so much; it's a two-way street that helps both the tutor and the student, and it's always great to see a student gain confidence in a class they once dreaded attending!
Although I have experience tutoring students, I am still relatively new. Because of this, my rates are low and affordable, so don't hesitate to contact me for help in your studies! :)

Teaching a foreign language is all about immersion, so expect plenty of conversations in French in our lessons! We'll go through grammar points and homework that may have confused you in class, so that you can speak, read and write more confidently in French. Our lessons will likely go for around 40 minutes to an hour. I help a wide range of students from primary school to SACE level. I am currently studying a minor in French and previously studied the Bachelor of Languages, so I have lots of experience when it comes to French grammar, comprehension and those tricky irregulars. Although I have informally tutored students, I am quite new to formal, paid tutoring, so my first lesson is free and the rest of my lessons are at low rates!

He tutors me in French, super helpful, so nice and patient. He uses engaging methods to help me understand French which is working. So fun to work with. I never feel judged when making a mistake, he talks you through the problems and explains to you why got it wrong and how to form sentences along with different studying techniques to better yourself. Highly recommend 10/10. I'm always so excited for our sessions!

Details
My rates are currently set at $25 per hour, with an extra $5 for travel fees (though this of course won't be charged if the lesson is done over Zoom). However, our first lesson together will be entirely free! :)
