About Arpan
Hi! I’m Arpan, a Laboratory Medicine student at Flinders University with a strong background in math and science, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I understand how frustrating it can be when things don’t click right away, and that’s where I come in — to make learning clearer, simpler, and less stressful. As a mentor in the Inspire Change program, I work closely with high school students, supporting them with academic concepts, study techniques, and career guidance. One of the things I value most in tutoring is instilling confidence. When students start believing in their abilities, everything else begins to fall into place. I create a calm, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. It’s not just about improving marks — it’s about helping students feel capable and proud of the progress they’re making. If you’re a student in Years 2 to 10 and need help with math or science, I’d love to support you on your learning journey.

My classes are all about making learning feel approachable and achievable. I tailor each lesson to the student’s pace, using clear explanations, visual aids, and real-world examples to help tricky topics make sense. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and flexible — I believe in asking the right questions to build understanding and confidence, not just memorisation.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes long, but can be adjusted based on what suits the student best.
I’m currently studying Laboratory Medicine at Flinders University and have a strong academic background in maths and science. Alongside my studies, I mentor high school students through the Inspire Change program, where I support them with core concepts, study strategies, and career guidance — especially those from Year 10 to Year 12.
These lessons are ideal for primary and high school students from Year 2 to Year 10, whether they’re looking to catch up, keep up, or get ahead. All students are welcome — especially those who just need that extra bit of support to feel confident in class and enjoy learning again.
