About Luke
My mission is to make learning maths fun and engaging, turning complex problems into exciting puzzles. With a solid foundation, including A-level Maths and applied statistics through a BA in Politics, I'm well-equipped to support students of all abilities. As a Learning Support Assistant, I've had the privilege of supporting a diverse range of young people, including SEN students, and have past experience mentoring students from primary school all the way up to year 11.

I've been there, wrestled with the same concepts, and know how to break them down into manageable steps. I'm a strong communicator with a creative knack for explaining even the trickiest topics in an engaging way. I offer both online services, and in-person sessions in Ealing and West London, either regularly or flexibly to accommodate your needs. Perfect! Luke has been a fantastic tutor for my two daughters (aged 10 and 11). He has worked to both explain topics clearly to them and challenge them, stretching their understanding and giving them heaps of confidence. The girls have enjoyed their lessons and look forward to them each week - which is a miracle given the girls’ reluctance to have maths tutoring beforehand.
Luke is a pleasure to work with, he is excellent at communicating prior to lessons to plan appropriately and gives clear updates on their progress after each session. I can’t recommend Luke highly enough.- Tutoring these two exceptionally bright students in mathematics has been a rewarding experience. Both possess a remarkable aptitude for the subject, with the older student demonstrating exceptional progress in algebra thanks to her strong working memory and quick understanding, and the younger student showing commendable effort and enthusiasm for learning. Luke is fiercely intelligent and a highly personable tutor, always dedicated to his work and his pupils. I have worked with him on countless occasions and aim to continue doing so! An incredibly versatile tutor with knowledge stretching across multiple topics, he really is a superb choice!
Luke is an absolutely fantastic tutor who approaches his students with patience and understanding. His teachings are reliable and resourceful, always considering and acting upon each individuals learning styles and needs. Can't think of anyone I'd recommend more to get you up to date on current curriculums, even pushing forward and providing more mature and higher-graded work, preparing you for future exams.
