About Patricia
I have 10 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with learners of different ages and academic abilities, helping them overcome mathematical challenges through patience, consistency, and structured instruction. Watching students develop confidence in algebra continues to be the most rewarding part of my profession.
One learner experienced difficulty solving polynomial equations because understanding polynomial identities and factorization strategies remained challenging. We focused on strengthening prerequisite skills, practicing multiple solving techniques, and reviewing completed problems together. As the student's confidence increased, classroom participation improved considerably, leading to excellent examination performance.
I believe algebra encourages logical reasoning, careful analysis, perseverance, and organized thinking that benefit students throughout their academic and professional lives. My classroom emphasizes curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement while ensuring every learner feels respected and supported.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students develop a complete understanding of algebra by strengthening both conceptual knowledge and analytical thinking. At the start of every course, I evaluate each learner's academic background, confidence level, and personal goals before creating an individualized learning plan. This structured approach allows students to build a strong mathematical foundation while progressing comfortably through increasingly advanced concepts.
Lessons include algebraic expressions, equations, inequalities, graphing, functions, exponents, radicals, factoring techniques, polynomial operations, rational expressions, sequences, systems of equations, and quadratic functions. Every topic is presented using step-by-step demonstrations followed by guided practice, independent exercises, and reflective discussions. Students learn to recognize mathematical relationships, evaluate different solving strategies, and explain their reasoning with confidence.
Practical applications from economics, software development, engineering, business analytics, and scientific modeling help students appreciate how algebra supports real-world decision-making. Regular progress assessments, revision sessions, and customized assignments reinforce learning while identifying concepts that require additional practice. Constructive feedback ensures students continue improving with confidence throughout the course.
Students preparing for school examinations, board assessments, SAT, ACT, college entrance examinations, or competitive mathematics contests receive personalized study schedules, examination techniques, timed practice sessions, and detailed progress reports. My objective is to help students become accurate, confident, and independent mathematical thinkers.
