As a tutor, I focus on personalized, student-centered learning. I create lesson plans that are adjusted class to class, based on each student’s needs, strengths, and current struggles. My goal is not only to improve their skills in reading, writing, comprehension, and essay structure, but also to build their confidence so they feel capable and prepared in every assignment.
I use a mix of:
- Guided practice to walk students through strategies step-by-step
-Targeted drills inspired by my previous experience to strengthen weak areas
-Active reading and annotation techniques to boost comprehension
-Structured writing frameworks to help students organize essays clearly
