About Sophie
As a coach I have coached complete beginners and elite athletes. I have helped a number of older athletes gain their grades and competition success and taken younger athletes from complete beginners to national competition level. I provide a complete training programme as well as mentoring.

I am a former Olympic judo athlete and now a coach with a post-graduate diploma in sport coaching. Whatever your background I can help you improve your technique and level whether it be for competition or just self development. I provide both video and written lessons and video analysis.

Sophie has been my judo coach for around 4 years now. She has taken a un-experienced beginner and taken me from white to brown belt (and hopefully black soon). She's also helped me to become a level 1 Judo coach.
She's also incredibly skilled in Judo for BJJ and MMA and has support my BJJ takedown game since day one. She has helped me achieve numerous IBJJF medals including a World Masters title in 2016.
