About Filipe
I have been teaching English in language schools since 2015, and although I identify with the methodology adopted by the school where I work, I believe there are still some things missing. There is no way to learn more effectively than experience and experience. Learning from the senses, feelings and own need brings teachings not only to the brain, but also to the body and the senses. Learning through experience and living activates sensory and body memory, making the acquired knowledge more easily accessed by the brain and more hardly forgotten.

Based on my experience abroad, where I realized several courses focused on learning the English language and where I had the opportunity to live the daily life of cities, I observed that the theoretical and practical learning acquired in the classroom is not enough. It is fundamental that the student experiences situations that are offered only by the street and day to day of the city, such as having a beer in a bar, buying clothes, going to the market, going to the restaurant, going to the pharmacy, taking a bus, street, discuss gender, race and politics, conduct a job interview, speak in public, cook, etc. And that is how I teach people, mixing the theory and practice of the classroom with the experience of the city and the experiences of everyday life. The classes are aimed at any level and age, since I have experience in all levels and age groups. They can be offered in double, trio, group or individually. Come with me and have fun!
