About Miranda
I studied journalism and media convergence in college. I worked at a summer camp where I taught a different group of kids each day about nature and history, particularly First Nations history. I also taught them archery and team-building games. I taught my friend from Poland English and I still continue to help him improve his English. I have also done the same with international students at my college. I am TEFL/TESOL certified.

I typically like to teach by having a conversation with the student. This is so the student can develop conversational skills. I start small and work my way up. I try to incorporate games like "I Spy" or "21 Questions".
