About Lysander
I've been passionate about the piano since I was a child. After I attended early musical education, I began to learn classical piano. However, I quickly realized that re-enacting classical literature is just not my thing.
I improvised on the piano for a long time and pursued my own interests until I chose the advanced music course during my Abitur. There I started to develop my personal style on the piano.
After I came into contact with jazz harmony, I decided to study elementary music education in Cologne.
In addition to my studies, I teach piano and guitar students. I also give lessons in jazz / pop harmony / ear training.
During the corona pandemic, I started to get a little more active on Instagram. My profile gives you an insight into what music I make ...

So far I have taught in different age groups and can clearly say that the mix of different people and learning methods inspires and motivates me.
I like to take a playful approach to piano lessons with children. Here it is important to me that in addition to learning to play the piano, elementary musical skills are also learned with a lot of joy.
I use different teaching methods depending on the age group and personal interests. One thing is certain, however: learning should always be fun.
