About Emily

With 4 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in teaching guitar to school and college students of all skill levels. My goal is to build strong fundamentals while helping students enjoy the learning process and gain musical confidence.
My teaching style is structured yet creative. I combine technique, chords, scales, and rhythm with song-based learning, improvisation, and practical music theory. This helps students understand how guitar skills are used in real music, not just exercises.
I use innovative methods such as personalized practice plans, backing tracks, and goal-based lessons to keep students motivated. Along with guitar, I also teach ear training, basic composition, and rhythm skills, creating a positive and supportive environment where students can grow and express themselves freely.
