About Aya

I am a Japanese teacher with three years of experience teaching beginner learners.

Before becoming a teacher, I worked in international business and supported foreign job seekers in Japan. Through these experiences, I learned how important clear communication and cultural understanding are.

My lessons focus on simple conversation, practical grammar, and building confidence step by step.

I create a friendly and relaxed environment where beginners can feel comfortable making mistakes and speaking Japanese from day one.

About the lesson

I teach beginner-level Japanese with a strong focus on conversation.
Grammar is explained in a simple, visual way, and we practice it right away through speaking.
About 80% of each lesson is your speaking time, so you can feel more comfortable using Japanese.

I use a direct method in Japanese, but in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where mistakes are totally okay.
The goal is to help you enjoy using Japanese, not just studying it.

I have over 12 years of work experience in Japan, in both office and customer-facing roles.
This helps me support learners who want practical Japanese for daily life, and simple, natural Japanese used at work.

My lessons are great for complete beginners, travelers, and anyone who wants to use Japanese in real-life situations, whether in daily life, at work, or while living in Japan.
