About Sudipa

Hello! Konnichiwa! I'm Sudipa Bhattacharya, an avid reader, polyglot and language educator. My journey with the Japanese language began about five years ago, and I've since achieved the JLPT N2 certification. I possess a deep enthusiasm for teaching and have obtained certification as a Japanese language educator through a comprehensive teachers' training course conducted jointly by the Ministry of External Affairs of India and the Embassy of Japan in India.

In addition to my training, I have experience working as a private JLPT trainer, where I have assisted students in their preparation for the N5 & N4 level examination and continue to do so. I also teach Japanese to absolute beginners, so if you want to learn Japanese from scratch, you're at the right place! Currently I'm teaching Japanese up to the intermediate level.

Apart from being a language nerd, I'm also deeply interested in Japanese literature and culture. Some authors whose works I truly cherish are Natsume Soseki, Keigo Higashino, Sayaka Murata, & Yoko Ogawa. I love interacting with native Japanese speakers and actively participate in the various events organized by the Japan Foundation.

Learning Japanese has been no less than an adventure for me, and the experiences I've had throughout these years have strongly influenced my teaching practices. My goal is to help my students truly comprehend and appreciate the essence of the Japanese language, while also allowing them to admire the richness of the Japanese culture. About the lesson

As an educator, I prioritize understanding the goals and aspirations of my students and structure my courses accordingly. I use a multimedia approach in teaching; along with oral lectures and explanations, I incorporate the use of whiteboards, presentations, and videos to make the classes as engaging as possible. Being a language learner myself, I understand the importance of active interaction in language learning. Thus, I ensure that my classes are interactive, fostering conversations that go both ways, and providing ample opportunities for students to express themselves. My classes are intended for learners of all ages. My goal is to create a well-rounded conducive environment that ensures the holistic language development of my students.

Perfect! My teacher is excellent. In the beginning, I was a little apprehensive because she is young in age. But from the first class, my apprehensions were all gone.

Personally, I appreciate educators who are cordial with their students and sudipa fits in that description . When a student makes a mistake the teacher should gently correct them, as sudipa does. Sudipa tried her hardest to explain things to me if I didn't understand them . I appreciate that about her. She is extremely the hard working teacher. For me to understand better, she created a PPT. She gave me a pdf of any english book, which we read in class and she clarified the meanings of the challenging terms to me. I enjoy using this method to sharpen my english.
