About Jacob
I graduated in 2020 from Laurentian University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in music, with a minor in English. I am now currently teaching private music lessons through Long & McQuade, as well as taking on students privately while I am currently in school to get my bachelors degree in education!

I've taught private music lessons both in person and virtually for the last two years, in that time I have created and curated a large amount of resources to help students improve their playing. In my lessons I put a big emphasis on improving as a musician first and as a guitar player second, meaning my students will learn theory, do regular ear training exercises, and learn how to improvise, as well as develop skills on their instrument. My lessons are for all ages, as well as all skill levels! Don't be shy to take a lesson whether you just picked up your first guitar or you've been playing for years, I can cater to just about anyone!
