I am a Brown University Geophysics senior with nearly nine years of experience tutoring K–12 students, specializing in math and physics. I have worked in both structured classroom settings and one-on-one environments, helping students of all levels—from those building foundational skills to high-achieving students aiming for top scores. My background in advanced math and physics allows me to explain concepts clearly and accurately, while my experience has taught me how to adapt to each student’s learning style. My approach to tutoring is structured, student-centered, and focused on building strong conceptual understanding. I teach K–12 math and physics, from elementary through AP, and adapt each lesson to the student’s level, learning style, and goals.
A typical lesson includes a brief review of prior material, targeted instruction on key concepts, and guided problem-solving. I place a strong emphasis on practice—students complete problems during and outside of sessions, and we spend time reviewing mistakes in detail, since that is where the most improvement happens.
What sets me apart is my focus on efficient feedback and pattern recognition. I help students identify and eliminate recurring errors so they can improve quickly, build confidence, and become more independent in their problem-solving.
