I took lessons all my life. Started teaching in college. Have taught over 50 students overall. I love teaching music. I can teach beginning, intermediate and advanced. Methods include Thompson’s, Alfreds, Keith shell and Faber. Also teach Theory and chords

I teach 30 minute private lessons 4 times per week. I help students recognize notes and rhythms and encourage them to practice at home. They come back to me and play what they learned the week before. I introduce new material, that builds from the last lesson. And we go from there.
