About Priyanitha
My name is Priya, I’m 39 years old, I was born and raised in Italy; 4 years ago I moved to London where I’m currently living with my family. As a child I travelled a lot and my love for foreign languages never stopped growing. At the age of 16 I started teaching English and Italian. At University I studied Italian, English, French and German. For a Year I have been teaching Italian in an International School called OKI. My students were aged between 8 and 40, and their levels ranged from beginners to advanced.

My lessons will be tailored to your needs; I can help you with grammar, give you exercises or simply “TALK” and you can always choose the topic of our conversation. I usually divide my lesson into three parts: 1) The first is the CONVERSATION: during this part we will choose a topic and we will talk about it in a suitable way so as to acquire new vocabulary. 2) The second part is the GRAMMATICAL one: we will learn how to use the various grammatical structures in various contexts. 3) The third part is LISTENING: during this part I will dictate a text and then we will correct it together. Thanks to these parts I will be able to understand your level and I will be able to help you better. My lessons are designed to help you learn to speak about different topics in depth; I will ask you a lot of different questions to encourage you to express your ideas and feelings regarding the topic. The learning rhythms are set according to your motivation and interest. In my own experience a good balance between grammar and interactive activities (conversation, videos, articles, news, images files, audio files, quizzes etc..) is the KEY to effectively learning a language.
