About Diana
Ciao! Mi chiamo Diana! Piacere di conoscerti! I am from a beautiful seaside city in southern Italy but I have been living in London for a few years. I've been passionate about my language from a young age and I've always known that teaching Italian was my dream job. I graduated first in Science Education and then in Adult Education and Lifelong Learning with the highest final grades (110/110). Once I moved to London, in 2017, I got an official certification (CLTA) at the International House London. Since then I've been teaching online and in-person students of all ages and different languages and cultures.

My approach to teaching is based first of all on the student's needs. It is important to assess the level and the personal interests and needs of the students and to discuss together any arrangement that makes the learning process easier. Although you will develop a well-balanced knowledge of the four skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing), most of the focus will be on improving your comprehension of spoken language and your conversation. It's also important for me to make the lesson funny and enjoyable... we are going to play games and role plays and sing songs! I've taught more than 500 lessons to students of all ages, levels and backgrounds. I have a degree in Lifelong Learning (with the highest final grades 110/110) and a Certification in Teaching Italian at the International House London. Studying Italian as a complete beginner with Diana is a lot of fun. I appreciate the variety of listening and reading exercises alongside mini-language games. I enjoy being immersed in Italian with Diana only using Italian in our lessons - based on this and my past experiences learning other languages, this method does work and keeps me motivated!
