About Ayan
I am currently pursuing my B.Tech. in Mathematics & Computing at IIT Delhi. Before joining IIT Delhi, I secured AIR 1 in the ISI B.Stat. entrance examination in 2023 and AIR 236 in JEE Advanced 2023. Mathematics has always been my strongest academic interest, particularly challenging problem-solving.
I especially enjoy Calculus, Geometry, Probability, Combinatorics, Number Theory and Inequalities, and I have a strong interest in Olympiad-style mathematics. I enjoy breaking difficult problems down into intuitive ideas and helping students develop the ability to think through unfamiliar problems independently.
I teach because I genuinely enjoy mathematics and explaining it. My aim is not simply to help students memorize formulas, but to build strong intuition, logical reasoning and confidence. Whether you are preparing for an international school examination, SAT/GRE, JEE, ISI/CMI, or mathematics competitions, I adapt the lessons to your level and goals.

I am an IIT Delhi student and ISI B.Stat. 2023 AIR 1, with JEE Advanced 2023 AIR 236. I offer personalized 1-to-1 Mathematics, Physics, Probability and Statistics classes for students from school level to advanced competitive mathematics.
I teach international curricula including IB Mathematics (AA/AI), IGCSE, GCSE, Cambridge, A-Level and Further Mathematics, as well as AP Calculus, AP Statistics, SAT, GRE and other quantitative examinations. For Indian students, I teach JEE Advanced & Main Mathematics and Physics, Olympiads, along with ISI and CMI entrance preparation.
I also specialize in Olympiad and advanced problem-solving mathematics, including AMC 8/10/12, AIME, UKMT and Olympiad preparation. My strongest areas are Geometry, Probability, Combinatorics, Number Theory and Inequalities, along with Algebra, Calculus, Linear Algebra and Discrete Mathematics.
My approach is concept-first and problem-solving oriented. Rather than relying on memorization, I focus on understanding why a method works, developing intuition, and then applying it to progressively challenging problems. Classes are adapted to the student's curriculum, level and goals, whether the aim is improving school grades, preparing for an examination, or developing advanced mathematical problem-solving ability.

What I appreciate most about Ayan is how comfortable he makes students feel while learning. He is approachable, attentive and genuinely interested in helping students improve.
