About Mary
I am a finance and global business student at Boston University's Questrom School of Business. I am currently a junior and my sophomore year spring was hired as a finance TA. This past fall semester (2020) I was promoted to Head TA while taking upper level finance.

When explaining concepts I find ways that make sense to the student by starting with basic concepts. The logic behind finance is something hard to understand if new to the field. For example, when I was interviewing potential TA's I asked them to explain to me the meaning of time value of money as they would to a 10 year old.
