About Gitin
I have been playing chess since I was 10 and have been teaching for the last 10 years. I have taught over 100 children in the last two years alone and focused on honing their gameplay. I am passionate about two things - teaching and chess and this provides me the perfect opportunity to leverage both my skill and passion towards the same thing. I believe in sharing one's knowledge and experience to create a spillover environment that's conducive to a holistic growth.

The most important thing is to assess each individual's skills and chalk out a plan of action that's custom to them. I have gained extensive experience working with students of all ages - from 10 years old during summer camp (chess coach for 2 consecutive years), to teenagers and adults trying to learn the game at all levels - beginner level or proficient players trying to hone their skills.
My sessions are super-interactive and focus on deliberate discussion on each move, highlighting the tactical play that goes behind it. I specialize in - Openings: Ruy Lopez, Sicilian defense, queens gambit, middle play and finally, end game - strategies.
