About Daniel
I am Daniel, born and raised in Malaysia but have ventured internationally for study and work in the UK, US, Australia over the past 8 years. I’m currently working as an engineer in a leading firm based in Sydney, and previously worked in one of the biggest engineering consultancy firms in the UK after graduating from Masters in Civil Engineering with 1st class honours from UCL.

I love to teach in a positive learning environment and every student's request is unique and therefore I will tailor my teaching/cooking methods to suit each student's needs. My approach is to be patient, friendly and diligent, and as such I love to teach by examples and through practical solutions.

Daniel always said language is the best tool to understand the culture and background of another country. Daniel is my Mandarin/Chinese Tutor for about 4 years, and I still very much enjoy his lessons. He is a patient and friendly tutor that keeps me engaged and focused in his lessons. He always finds interesting ways to simplify and explain things to me. I hope his down-to-earth approach in tutoring can help many others to learn Mandarin.
I have known Daniel since 2015 when we did our third year abroad studies together in the US. He is a diligent and intelligent individual as he often give private tuition classes to local students in Math, Science subjects and Mandarin.
