About Temi

Hi! I'm currently a Law student at the University of Exeter, and I genuinely love helping students build confidence and achieve their goals. I achieved A*AA in Politics, Economics, and Geography at A-Level, along with a Grade 9 in GCSE Business and Grade 8s in both Maths and English. Having recently been through the school and exam process myself, I understand how challenging it can be, and I’m here to help make learning feel more manageable and even enjoyable. Over the past two years, I’ve worked closely with young people, both in tutoring and mentoring roles. I know that everyone learns differently, so I always adapt my lessons to suit the individual. Whether you need help with understanding content, structuring essays, or preparing for exams, I’ll support you in a way that works for you. My sessions are friendly, relaxed, and encouraging, with the aim of helping you feel confident and capable in your subjects. Outside of tutoring, I’m part of the Exeter Law Society and Debating Society, where I enjoy discussing ideas and building communication skills. I also love playing netball, going for runs, and doing Pilates to stay active and balanced. I’ve played the violin for over five years, which has taught me the value of patience and consistency, qualities I bring to my tutoring too. Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy, and there’s nothing better than seeing that moment when something clicks for a student. About the lesson

My tutoring approach is friendly, tailored, and results-focused. I believe in creating a supportive environment where students feel confident asking questions and taking risks with their learning. I adapt my teaching style to each individual’s needs whether that means breaking down complex theories into clear, simple steps, using real-world examples to make topics more relatable, or providing structured practice to build exam skills. I offer 60-minute sessions, which include a mix of explanation, interactive discussion, and guided practice. I incorporate past papers, essay planning, and revision techniques to help students feel fully prepared and confident. I achieved an A* in A-Level Politics and an A in A-Level Economics, as well as a Grade 9 in GCSE Business. I also tutor GCSE Maths and English. With over two years of experience working closely with young people I understand how to build confidence and keep students motivated. My lessons are ideal for GCSE and A-Level students looking to improve their understanding, boost their grades, or prepare for exams with clarity and confidence.
