About Scott
With over a decade of experience in the classroom, I am a dedicated educator who knows how to connect with students and make learning meaningful. I currently teach middle school math and science at an independent school, where I also serve as the Innovation Lead and Maker Space Coordinator. My students know me as someone who is patient, engaging, and committed to helping them succeed. I was honored to be consulted by the Catholic Schools Office of Boston for guidance on improving middle school math outcomes, following the success of my instructional approach at a previous school. As both a coach and STEM enthusiast, I understand the importance of building confidence, developing problem-solving skills, and adapting instruction to meet every learner’s needs. Details
For in-person sessions, I charge a transportation fee based on distance from Mansfield Center, MA. The fee is calculated at $1 per mile, with a maximum charge of $20. For nearby students, this may be significantly less—or even $0 for those within close range. I am happy to confirm the exact travel rate before our first session.
