About Christa
I have been minding children for 10 years, have been an au pair and pre-school teacher, and have been tutoring for about 8 months in one-on-one lessons to 5 different students of different speaking backgrounds and levels of English. I also have been a part of a few different language learning experiments and methods which I like to employ in my lessons.

As a tutor I specialize in English and Language Acquisition (English as a second language), as well as public speaking (for all areas of child and teen development), writing, and arts. I generally teach in the University of Aberdeen Sir Duncan Rice Library. Travel fees will be added if you cannot meet me there.
My lesson prices are based on how much lesson planning the student will require to accomplish their goals. examples:
General Speaking lessons (you just need someone to speak to you in english and correct your mistakes): £15/hr
Homework/essay proofreading: £12/hr
Accent and language abilities analysis, writing style analysis, planned lessons with activities: £20/hr
