About Angie
My name is Angie, and I am an Industrial Engineer and a dedicated tutor in Mathematics and Spanish with a clear, structured, and results-oriented approach. I support students in strengthening their academic foundations, improving comprehension, and building confidence in their abilities, regardless of their starting level.
My academic background as an engineer, combined with my experience in learning processes, allows me to explain complex concepts in a clear, organized, and practical way. In Mathematics, I focus on logical understanding rather than memorization, helping students grasp the reasoning behind each procedure. In Spanish, I work with language as a whole, developing reading, writing, comprehension, and oral expression skills.
I am known for being responsible, organized, and fully committed to each student’s progress. I carefully plan every lesson, adapt the content to the student’s level and learning pace, and create a respectful and supportive environment where asking questions and making mistakes are a natural part of learning.
My goal as a tutor is to provide serious and professional academic support that not only improves academic performance, but also strengthens autonomy, motivation, and confidence in learning.

My approach as a tutor and how I share my knowledge:
My approach as a tutor is holistic, structured, and learner-centered. I believe that effective learning happens when students feel safe, understood, and actively engaged in the process. 5. I emphasize clarity, repetition with purpose, and real-life examples so knowledge is not only understood, but integrated.

1) Check-in and objective setting – understanding the learner’s current state and goals for the session
2) Core content – introduction or development of the main topic using structured explanations and examples
3) Practice and application – exercises, guided activities, or reflective tasks
4) Feedback and adjustment – reviewing progress and clarifying doubts
5) Closing and integration – summarizing key learnings and, when appropriate, assigning a small practice or reflection
