Hello! I’m Dhruv Patel, an undergraduate student at Indiana University studying Finance and running my own business. My passion for numbers goes beyond the classroom — I love showing students how math connects to real-world decision-making, problem-solving, and success in business and everyday life. As a tutor, I’m dedicated to making math understandable, approachable, and even enjoyable. About My Tutoring Approach — Dhruv Patel
As a finance student and entrepreneur at Indiana University, I approach tutoring the same way I approach business — with structure, strategy, and a focus on results. Teaching Method & Techniques:
I use a step-by-step approach that focuses on understanding why formulas and concepts work, not just memorizing them. I incorporate real-world business and finance examples to show how math is used in everyday decisions. I also use interactive problem-solving, quick assessments, and visual aids to adapt to each student’s learning style.
Typical Lesson Plan:

Core Lesson (30–40 minutes): Teach or reinforce key concepts through examples, breaking down each step.
